KIRSTEN! I wonder where my Kirsten doll is these days. Probably in a box somewhere.
I used to have one of the dolls where you could pick out the hair color and eye color to match you. So it was basically Kirsten in modern clothes and without the braids. All I really wanted was the Felicity doll. I remember my cousin had Felicity, Samantha, Molly, AND Josefina. I was SO JEALOUS.
Girls who had more than one were the worst. American Girl dolls were definitely the status symbol of third grade. (Like Pogs in second grade. And Pokémon cards in sixth grade.)
